It's used in Indian (Hindu) Wedding Dresses because it is considered to bring good luck and happiness to the prospective couple.
For the Chinese too, red is a very lucky color, hence it is used a lot in their decor and clothes.
But I'm done with giving you World Wide facts about the color Red...
So first, I'm going to show you this cute little plastic keychain (Red Stiletto Pump with a red bow & white polka dots) my mommy gave me a while ago. I had an impromptu photo session with it. Isn't it cute? :)
And now for the second red item. My Red Butterfly earrings-
Purchased in May 2009 in a mall in Bangkok. I was just looking around, & wasn't even sure that I wanted to buy this. But mom pushed me. I'm glad she did, because I like them!
They're made of wood, and are pretty large, but are ridiculously lightweight (see the picture below)

Sadly I haven't worn them yet. Haven't found the right thing to pair them with. But I know I will. Soon!
And here's another pair of earrings- Cute Red Treble Clef Post earrings. These I bought recently from Al's. They're small & perfect for day wear.
I own a red lipstick... it's Maybelline & the shade name is Kiss the Bride Red! It's from their Superstay range and it's really lives up to it's name. You'll have Gwen Stefani/Courtney Love lips for at least a couple of days! I used it a couple of times but I don't really think it suits my darkish skin tone at all! I think I'll pass it on to my mommy, it'll look cute on her!

So how did you like feasting your eyes on some of the red stuff I have? I'd love to know!
