Sigma E25 Blending Brush

Some time ago I received the E25 Blending Brush from Sigma for review. I don't remember exactly how long the shipping took, I think it was around 2 weeks, which is very fast for International shipping from USA to India. I have had to wait very long time for some thing, so I was quite surprised when this brush arrived because I wasn't even expecting it yet.
I am not really going to call this post a review because I don't think I am good enough with make up to review a make up brush! I am new to make up, not very good but I like experimenting & learning. I don't know if this will sound sacrilegious to some make up bloggers (it probably will!) but this is the first time I am using a brush to apply eyeshadow. Earlier, I have always used those tiny foam applicator that come with eyeshadow palettes. I was actually all out of those, & asked my mom to purchase some, but this brush arrived just in time (thanks Sigma!)
The brush arrived in a thick manila envelope.
On to the brush. The description says it is an 'Oval-shaped brush with gently chiseled sides. Blends and softens the look of powder or cream shadows. Ideal to apply eye shadow primer, base eye shadow colors, and blend harsh lines.'

I tried using it to create a green eyeshadow look. (I didn't take any photos, sorry!) I used three different shades of green powder eyeshadow, from the same palette. The brush felt super lovely on my skin, I don't think anything that soft has every touched my eyelids before! Yet it was stiff enough to blend the powder well. It was very easy to use, even though I was using it for the first time. Even though this is the travel size brush, I found it very comfortable to hold.
I am really happy I got to try out this brush from Sigma. I have always wanted to learn make up, & was contemplating saving up to buy some make up brushes from MAC, even though they are so expensive! =(
Then I heard about Sigma. I have read multiple reviews of their brushes, many claim that they are as good as MAC & many claim they are almost as good. I know one thing for sure, I will never waste money on MAC make up brushes as long as Sigma is around, in fact, I look forward to ordering some brushes from them soon. I am seriously eyeing this lovely 12 brush kit. It has every make up brush you need to apply make up to eyes & face! I love the Aqua color, the handy box makes it easy to carry on travels too! If Aqua is not your color they also have the exact same kit in black, purple & coral!
And if your order is worth $30 or more you get a free gift from Sigma Make Up. :)
