You'll miss me when I'm gone...

I am going to be gone from this blog, but just for a while! My exams start tomorrow & I will be busy (no, I won't actually be studying, I never do that! Every moment at my MacBook Pro, playing The Sims 3. I am super addicted to that game, I have to play it every single day for an hour or more).
So that obviously mean I might not be actively posting for the next week or two... (hence the title).
My mom took me shopping a few days ago so I thought I'd share what I purchased with you guys... I didn't take any pictures, though. I'm saving them for the actual outfit posts.
First I got two absolutely awesome things, a very Nautical Red beach dress & a blush pink cardigan (I love that shade... I really need more of it in my wardrobe). They were both from a boutique in Bandra. I also purchased a black fedora! I do think it's a little small for my head, though.:D
Later I went to a shoe store, (also in Bandra) & mom & me got some shoes. She got some simple Grey Grecian style sandals, & I got a black studded pair. But what I really wanted is a pair of cognac-colored leather sandals to match the Cognac Ganson bag I won on Sophi's giveaway. I still haven't taken it out yet! I forgot to carry the bag or even a photo for that matter but my mom picked a vintage style sandal for me & bought it. And when I got home I saw that the sandals match the bag almost perfectly (my mom can be awesome to shop with. You can get a little jealous now!)
Later on we proceeded to a famous mall, Oberoi Mall. I wanted to go to Forever New because I had seen this awesome little jumpsuit/playsuit/romper (I still can't decide what to call it, because all three words mean the same thing!)
So I entered the store & there it was again... I picked it up in the smallest size (UK/AUS 6) & ran to the trial room. Tried it on. It has a floral print (hello spring!), is purple & has a bow. Of course it was silly & impractical, very beachy & too short to wear in Bombay. But I was in ♥love♥ with it! Tears for Fears - Head Over Heels was playing in my head & so I absolutely had to have it. I am so broke, & mom was totally against it. She thought it was an overpriced, ill-fitting piece of cloth. But I begged, pleaded, cajoled & finally she got it for me. Thanks again, Mom! When my dad saw it he was so sure it would never fit me! It does but it's shorter than what I'm used to.

Isn't it lovely? This was taken in the trial room before I bought it. That's all I have to say for now.

  2. I really wanted this but they sold out in Bangalore! I love playsuits too and own 4 at the moment. I also <3 Forever New and spend a lot of money there and yes I hear the same thing about it being over priced etc etc. But a lot of their dresses are made in silk and other kinds of crepe and hand stitching, beaded embroidery etc. I think its money well spent! Have you worn yours anywhere yet? I wear all of mine to a lot of different places and get mixed reactions ranging from 'oh how cute' to 'OH you are wearing a...' :-)
