This lovely display greeted us as we entered. And yeah, the middle Nivea Creme tin revolved!

Nivea print ads throughout the years.

The drinks- Other than the alcohol they served these lovely blue drinks. I'm guessing they were blue curacao with 7UP? Amazing!
The decor was all blue & white. There were regular balloons on the floor & helium ones on the ceiling

The range of Nivea products.

Vintage Nivea telly ads.
A lot more happened that night that I didn't get photos of- Rakshit Hargave, the MD of Nivea India gave a talk about the brand, the beautiful Anushka Sharma was announced as the spokesperson for Nivea India,
D-Minus belted out some amazing performances, etc. I guess I have to start taking more photos when I go to such events.
Anyway when Anushka was talking about her grandmom & mom using that Nivea Creme I couldn't help but think of my own mom who was never much into cosmetics but started to buy tins of it during her first job.
Nivea was founded in 1911. It holds so many wonderful distinctions- they invented the first skin cream, the first sun protection lotion & today they are the world's largest skincare brand.
Looking forward to using & reviewing some Nivea products on the blog soon.

Cool! I didn't know Nivea is known in India as well. I thought they were only present on the European and American market.
