A visit to Kiehl's, Phoenix Market City

In December Kiehl's India had a Christmas Wishlist contest on their Facebook page & I entered. Later when I was in vacation in Goa I got to know that I had won! I was so excited, I couldn't wait to come home & get my hands on my prize.
When they asked if I'd like to pick up my prize at the Phoenix Market City store, I was even more excited because now I had a legitimate excuse reason to enter the store & check out all their products.

The store is styled like a vintage apothecary, it had a lot of neon & general vintage / industrial vibe - just look at those cute library cabinets! My camera was acting up so the photos don't look that good, but you have to see this place for your self to realize how lovely it is.
The Sales Assistant I talked to was very smart & very proficient in english! She used some kind of strip to test my skin type. The result was oily - not something I didn't know. I hadn't use any makeup or cream to mattify my skin (I like my skin to breathe ☺) & now I'm curious to know if the result would be different if I had.

Now on to the haul-

For the contest prize, I got to choose three Kiehl's products that I wanted. Kiehl's is known to not advertise but instead give out free samples so I was handed a few samples too. Needless to say I left the store one very happy girl.

Christmas wishlist gifts •Midnight Recovery Concentrate •Midnight Recovery Eye •Aromatic Blends Vanilla & Cedarwood Body Mist
Samples •Ultra Facial Oil-Free Cleanser •Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream •Blue Astringent Herbal Lotion (not pictured) •Aromatic Blends Vanilla & Cedarwood Skin-Softening Body Cleanser •Aromatic Blends Vanilla & Cedarwood Skin-Softening Body Lotion Lotion

I'm very lazy with skincare but I find a few minutes before bedtime is when I'm most likely to actually spend some time on my skin. The midnight recovery concentrate is supposed to be one of their most highly-regarded products - It's 99.8% naturally-derived, paraben free & has won numerous awards.  The eye cream is from the same range. I'm always searching for the perfect perfume & so I chose the Vanilla & Cedarwood mist from their Aromatic Blends range.
Of the samples, two of them go with the body mist & the other two were given to me because of my skin type. I haven't started using them yet because I'm close to finishing my current Himalaya face wash, but I'm very impressed with the fact that these are oil, fragrance & paraben free (Himalaya stuff claims to be all natural but contains parabens, boo!)

All in all I'm very happy with everything. I look forward to using them (you can expect a few reviews here) but as I said before, I'm very impressed. I just may have found what I've been looking for.

love,
Magali
