In my last post I showed you my favorites from the ONLY S/S 2013 collection, so today I'm showing you my picks from the VERO MODA & PIECES collection. While VERO MODA & ONLY are sister labels, they're still pretty different- ONLY is more edgy / grungy while VERO MODA is more feminine. And Pieces is of course the range of accessories. The VERO MODA Spring Summer collection embodies a strong British influence - there are so many things I liked but these are the ones that really stood out.
Colored bottom are back with a bang & I like how they made it edgier with exposed bronze zippers. Also how cool are the graphic prints on t-shirts? The new collection also features a whole lot of embellishments.
Bold, black & white stripes are making a huge comeback around February (but I told you that already! ;)) on blazers, blouses, trousers & even shorts!

Needless to say, neon is in! I loved seeing the different ways that VERO MODA has incorporated it into their latest collection- there are bright cardigans for those of you who love boldly flaunting neon & there are just hints of it in other places; for example the tshirt above neon is paired & pastels & the sleeveless shirt features a lovely ombre (dip-dye!) effect.
There's also lace (lots of it... so pretty & feminine), demure dresses & geometric necklaces. This (along with ONLY, of course) was my first Spring Summer preview & it's made me really excited for the months ahead!
